Japanese Culture

Today we are going to be learning more about the Japanese culture. I am going to share some more interesting facts with you about Japan. I love Japanese products and just Japan in natural so I researched Japanese facts/Japanese culture and I want to share some interesting facts with you.
Did you know that the worlds oldest company operated in Japan? It ran from 578 AD all the way up to 2006. This company was known as KongĂ… Gumi Co. They helped with building temples and during World War II, they started building coffins. The company started going down hill in the 80's because they borrowed 1arge sums of money. In 2006, the company was $343 million dollars in dept. and they were consumed by another company.
Japanese farmers grow square watermelons because they are easier to store.
Japan is known to have more pets than children. Japan's birth rate is so low there are more adult diapers sold than baby diapers. 98% of adoptions in Japan are adults. This is so the family businesses can stay within the family.
That is all for now and I will have more in the future. Let me know what you think of this.
